I knew Eric from days at UF. He was always kind to me and I held a sincere respect for him. I have enjoyed seeing his later life on facebook with Joy and his beautiful family. Rest in peace Eric.

I will always remember Eric as an uplifting man who brought an outstanding attitude and a wonderful sense of humor wherever he went. Our pick-up basketball games back in the day were fun as we beat up on each other in good sport. He asked if I could join him in his morning swims in the springs he loved dearly. A caring, genuine friend who will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace Eric knowing you made the World a better place.

To Joy and Family, I remember Eric so fondly over the years from his visits to my practice with Buddy Hatcher. I worked for The family very briefly but will always remember Eric for his great sense of humor , love of nature and open mindedness. I remember when he went to New York and told me he saw the Dalai Lama. I replied I saw him on TV, Eric Laugh and laughed. To Joy and family I extend my deepest of sympathy! Rest In Peace Mr.Eric Parker.

I went with Eric many times on his early morning swims in the springs. Before he left on his trip he dropped me off where we’d meet and he made me promise to keep going while he was away. We shook hands and I told him I’d keep the faith, and bon voyage. Goodbye Buddy- you were always good to me, and a good influence on me. I miss you so.
