Dear James family,
We are sorry for your loss. We taught in Monroe County Schools. My husband Edward taught with Mrs. James at Glynn Archer Junior High. He taught sixth grade. I taught third and second grade at Truman Elementary. We enjoyed our time in Key West. Ed returned to seminary to become a Lutheran pastor. I continued with teaching for awhile until we started a family. Ed joined the Air Force. We had three lovely daughters. We would always visit Key West and Fort Taylor. Ed retired from the Air Force. He is still in the ministry. He and our daughter, Jennifer, republished Dad England's book about Fort Taylor. It is listed on Amazon. We do visit Key West for Civil War Heritage days.
