Eddie was the first person that I ever meet in gainesville. I was hitchhiking through back in 1980 with my friend mark. Eddie picked us up in a drop top blue "boat". As we rolled through town he offered us shrimp that he just got at a cook out and to hang out. ^ months later I came back to gainesville to go to UF and I stayed with Ed for several months until I got my own place. I hung out with him over the years. my kids meet him and were entertained by his Barbie collection. David,peace to you, and I became friends as he always was in my neck of the woods taking care of city street sign problems. He is one of the most endearing and positive memories that I will always have of this town. Love you Eddie. Peace be with you.

Eddie, I will love and miss you forever brother. Lots of memories of when we grew up on 38th street. I was the first friend you met when you moved here and we remained friends all these years. My prayers are with Amy and the family. Tommy C.
