Dear Ruth,
I just found out about your mother's death. My condolences to you and your family.

Dot was always one of the first people to greet the nursing students when they came to visit Pine Grove. She was always upbeat and shared her experiences with "Igor" openly and honestly!
She will be deeply missed!

I send wishes of comfort to her family & all who loved her..
I was lucky to live in the same building as Dot - she was upbeat, witty & kind - such a delight to be with. Seeing her always made my day. She wore outrageous colorful clothes & shoes, beautifully put together. She was unique. Thankyou Dot for being my friend - you are in the light now..
my second mom....
funny, caring, loving...not afraid to be herself...always smiled, never angry.
I'm sorry you are gone....that I didn't get to see you, to thank you for being you, for taking care of me when I was young. you are gone too young....

Ruth, Debbie and Alex and beautiful grandchildren of Dorothy, please accept mine and Ted's condolences. I did not know your Mother/Grandmother but I'm sure if I had, the pleasure would have been all mine. She would have gotten on great with my friend Doris, also a "free-spirit" and a lot of fun. It is your most difficult time right now but treasure those "happy" memories. Wish I was there to give you guys a hug and tell you the hurt gets easier but I will see Ruth back in Brooklyn and allow yourselves to lean on your friends ( that is what We are here for) God Bless Her and your family.
