I worked for Don at JM Fields in the Sherwin Williams paint and hardware department in 1974 as a part-timer as I attended UF. Don was a very nice person of outstanding quality and I still appreciate being able to work for him. How it came to be that I happened to look him up the night before his funeral is a mystery even to me. I’m sorry for his passing and hope that he and his family enjoyed their years together. I left that job I think shortly before Don did, I know he had started his furniture refurb business, something he liked to do and was very good at. I haven’t thought of him in a long time, but am glad i could share this memory. I now live happily in Titusville, FL my home town which I moved back to after leaving Don’s employ. Peace and love to all of Don’s people.
I was honored to have Thanksgiving Meal with Don and his family. What a wonderful human being! I knew I liked him right away when he offered me a high end German Beer! :) ... So sorry Cindy Lou.
