I remember Sister Delores as a woman of strength. She was a good friend to me during the time when my husband, David, was in the Gulf War. I would sometimes visit her at the office of Self-Storage where she worked and she would share some of her hard times.
We would drink tea or coffee and she would remind me that 'hard times' were best gone through, by putting one foot in front of the other and staying faithful to the house of God.
I loved her.
