I was fortunate to be Tom and Debbie's home teacher, along with Reed Langford, for some time, and we always enjoyed her insight and comments. She had a good understanding of and infectious enthusiasm for the gospel of Jesus Christ. A meaningful Sunday School class discussion was incomplete without Debbie's contribution. I loved the too few geocaching adventures we had!!! She was determined when it came to finding them, even wading around in the water to find a hanging one! (I was a scaredy cat!!!) She encouraged me to hide my own! I always loved running into her at the ward building, I knew a hug was coming.! Rest easy dear girl! Much love!
Deborah was a huge inspiration and die hard fan of the Fable Factory, a local family theatre.
So much so even her children were actors in our shows. Her positivity and endearing love of life was an inspiration to us all. She even made my oldest daughters wedding gown and it was magnificent. Even after we closed the theatre company, she loved the music and kept it going. We loved her and will miss her.
I am so sorry to hear about your mom, Lucy. I remember after she would come to the Carousel shows, we would go to Steak and Shake for milkshakes. Good times. My prayers for you and your family!
