David was a very special person who was always willing to help someone. I shared many hours and laughs with David during the years of the Arabian Horse club. I will never forget the memories or the hospitality of both David and Beverly. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are there for David and the family. May God bless you all.

David was a wonderful person, funeral director, leader and mentor. He never let his body get in the way of his service to others. I have many fond stories and memories of working with him at Lamb-Roberts. He never took himself to seriously and he was always funny and loved to tell a joke or pull a prank. To Beverly and the family, I know his and your faith will guide you through this difficult time. Thank you for sharing David with us here in Kansas for those few years.
I will always remember David as being the life of the party at our Family Reunions we use to have! He always kept us laughing. He was truly meant to work in the Funeral Home Business!!!! You always felt relaxed and at peace with him! I have missed him being on FB for a few years, and since you all moved to Florida. RIP David for you are no longer fighting and suffering for peace!

I consider David a blood relative of mine, he has been a part of my family most of my life. David was a special and amazing man. His love for Jesus was shown daily. He will be missed by many. He could always make you laugh and had a smile and kind word for everyone. I will see you again someday David, rest high on that Mountain in the arms of Jesus. I love you all and I'm very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are for you all, may God give you the peace you need for healing.

But the funny memory I have was when you did the Burger King commercial ... LOL you so fit the part.
You were so brave and so strong to have fought such a fight all those years as you tried to live a normal life. You said that you loved Beverly so much and you wished she did not have to carry all the burden.You said she never once complained, and that made you sad having to put her through it.
No more suffering and no more sadness. Your love for your family kept you here longer than you expected.
Your love for flying now will take you high above the clouds and into the arms of the Lord and into the gates of heaven. Rest my friend ... God Bless you !

(David was a year behind me @ Samford...seems so long ago.) This is a difficult time but you know that God will see you through. So sorry to hear of David's passing. I was in band with him at Anniston High School. I played clarinet. He was always fun to be around and a pretty good drummer too!!
