It was with shock and much sadness that we learned of the passing of our niece, Cynthia Kachik.
We had the opportunity to enjoy her company most recently when she and Barbara drove their RV up from Florida ahead of Hurricane Ian.
She suggested a get together at a local restaurant. We had an enjoyable evening catching up at Anthony Jr's in Coraopolis.
We said our goodbye's promising to get in touch with her when she got back to Florida. We did not know at that moment it would be the last time we would talk to her.
We're hoping she's looking down on us with a smile knowing we love her and will miss her immensely.
Her Uncles,
John & Andrew Kachik
Cynthia was a kind and generous soul and wonderful teacher. My heart goes out to all of her family and friends.
When I first met Cynthia in 1975, I invited her to go running. I had been on the U of F Track Team. We ran early in the mornings. When I revealed I didn't like running in the morning, Cynthia said she didn't either. But we liked spending time together. So we met for coffee instead. We remained friends through all our individual ups and downs and major changes over the 47 years that followed. The best part was Cynthia finding her Barbara. Our hearts go out to Barbara. R.I.P. dear friend, Cynthia.
Sending my sincere prayers to your family. Rhonda Mott
