Clyde Eston Lower's Obituary
Clyde Lower passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on May 26, 2022. He was 81 years old. He was born, raised and lived his whole life in Gainesville, FL. He was a true rarity, a true native Gainesvillian.
Clyde was an animal lover through and through. He was loved by and cared for all the special animals he owned over his life. Most recently his beloved animals are his cats Pickles and Little Cat One, and his dog Elly.
Clyde was the founder and owner of Clyde E. Lower and Associates, a financial planning business. He was a long standing member and Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, and
a member of The Exchange Club of Gainesville.
Clyde was predeceased by his parents, Eston and Rose Lower.
Clyde is survived by his loving wife of 58 1/2 years, Mary Lower. He is lovingly remembered by
his children, LynnAnne (Addison) Burns, daughter; David (Missi) Lower, son; his grandchildren, Zachariah (Ty) Lower, Shelby Burns, Caleb (Rachel) Lower, Luke Lower, Aaron Lower, Sarah Lower and his brother, George (Barbara) Lower
Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at North Florida Regional Medical Center and Haven Hospice who attended to his care.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on June 2, 2022 at 2:30 pm. The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service at the church. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Central. Instead of flowers, please send donations to Haven Hospice of Gainesville.
