Clara Mae was a first cousin of mine and a great one I might add. We grew up together in Orange Heights and went to school in Waldo. We were buddies as kids but like most of us we drifted apart after we grew up and got married. Her and her husband (Josh) moved to the Tampa area and me and Lucille moved to Jacksonville. We did get to visit some after both of us moved back to this area. Clara was a special type woman, full of life and a pleasure to be with. She will be greatly missed by a lot of people, myself incuded. My thoughts and prayers go out to her surving family. I will always remember her quick smile and hope to see it again in Heaven. God Bless RIP

So very sad to hear of the passing of Aunt Clara Mae. My fondest memory was when my sisters, Teresa, Ramona, and I went to visit with her and Uncle Josh. They met our families, my husband, Steve and son, Jonathan and Teresa's daughter, Lena. We spent the whole day with them reminiscing, swimming, looking through photos, and eating good food. We cried some, laughed a lot, and ate too much!! It was such a pleasant visit and one I will never ever forget! We managed to keep in touch with each other for a long time after. I had the utmost respect for Aunt Clara and Uncle Josh. They were both very precious.
To her children: They both always spoke very highly of you all and were very proud of each of you! Every conversation or written correspondence always had some favorable comments, praise, or accolades of you guys. I loved and appreciated how family oriented they were as that is how my parents raised us! Our family means everything to us. So sorry for your loss. Mrs Clara was one of the sweeties lady I knew. I started clogging with her and some of her family few yrs ago that was some of the best times of my life. She always made people feel special. I grew up with her Mom and Dad in Orange Heights. She always made me feel like family. My daughter Melinda and Justin ask her if they could have their wedding at her house she didn't even hestate and it was a beautiful wedding in her back yard. That's what kinda special lady she was. She will be miss by many and never forgotten. God has truly got him a special Angel To her family my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
