Charles E. (“Chuck”) Goodrich, 82, passed away peacefully on September 23 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his daughter Renee Schneider and son-in-law Keith S Read Obituary
I had the pleasure of working with Chuck at GE. Everyday, Chuck made us laugh. Whether it was just his happy demeanor, standing in the middle of the office and twirling on one foot, the days were full of fun! I want to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your beloved father, Charlie.
I used to work with Charlie at General Electric in the Heavy Military Drafting Department at Farrell Road. I was a clerk-typist at the time. The year was 1974-1975, before the big layoff, in 1975.
Charlie was a wonderful man, and I enjoyed working with him, He had a great personality, and was lots of fun to talk to. Everyone in the department liked him very much. He will be missed my many who knew him.
Just remember, he will always have a special place in your hearts, and he will always be watching out for you.

I'm not sure if my memory message went through. I went to school with Chuck from kindergarten or first grade at Notre Dame. My husband Jim and I graduated in 1950 with him from St. Joe's and he was always a great gentleman and friend.
