Buddy, so sorry to hear of Carol's death. You might recall that you brought my wife, Becky, down to Lake City for Christmas while I was in VietNam. Don't think you could forget about that trip because your VW was packed totally, with a space that Becky reports was designed to conform perfectly to her body. Should got and and could not move until she got to Florida! She remembers that your bird was in the space to her left.
Can't believe that we jump from that memory to today. Have thought so many times about trying to make contact on our way to and from Orlando to Lake City (mother just turned 100...outliving all of her bridge partners, including Mildred). Our condolences to you and your family. Becky and Emery Brown
