I was so blessed to have known Mrs. Godwin, although many years after she taught me in "Marriage and The Family" at GHS, she told me when I met her again when she moved into The Village, that I could call her "Bronna". I told her that I would always be calling her Mrs. Godwin. She was so beautiful, smiling and so positive about life. I had many visits with her at The Village and she shared so many stories about all her beautiful quilts. I still have the patches and the instructions that she gave me to place on the quilts that my grandmother mad more than 50 years ago. I will treasure all the sweet memories I have of a person that had such an impact on my life. My sympathy to her family. Thoughts and prayers are with you. May all the memories that you have bring peace and comfort.
