Our family was blessed to have Bonnie teach all three of our children at Glen Springs and she was a bright star in their lives. She touched each one of our kids in a special way and made them feel special and unique. I personally worked with her in the school garden and came to know the kind and generous woman she was. I always enjoyed my times with her. My deepest sympathy to Arnie, Arne, Kris and Lauren on the loss of their beloved wife and mother. She will leave a hole that cannot be filled. It makes me smile to picture her in Heaven with our Jeffrey whom she taught for several years (and passed when he was 18) joking around and enjoying paradise. God Bless you all.

Bonnie was my sister’s mother in law-so I knew her but not well. When my own mother became very ill (and subsequently passed), Bonnie generously opened her home to my brother, my son, and me to stay while we were in Gainesville. She was so warm and open and I will forever be thankful of her thoughtfulness, grace and caring. My son loved her. She and Arnie were a bright light in an otherwise horrible week. Rest In Peace.
Both of my children were fortunate to have Bonnie as a teacher. She treated her students as if they were her own and provided a warm and safe environment for them to learn. I know Bonnie loved her family and spoke of them often. May her loving memory bring you strength during this difficult time.
Bonnie and I taught together at Glen Springs for many years. I know how much her students loved her and what a creative teacher she was. She touched so many lives. I have decades of memories of the Glen Springs Family teaching and partying together. Bonnie hosted many of these gatherings at her house through the years. Here is a photo of one of the celebrations in the Glen Springs cafeteria. My heart goes out to her family. We will all miss her.

My first memory of Bonnie was coming to her home my first year at Glen Springs. She hosted a beautiful dinner for all the faculty at the beginning of the school year. We worked together for two years before she retired. I have sweet memories of the many hours she later volunteered at our school. May God comfort and hold all of you,her family, close during this sad time.
Bonnie was my beading buddy. Although we became friends only recently; her kindness, courage and compassion touched every moment we shared. Rest In Peace, Bonnie.
