My sincere condolences to Bev's family.
A little bit of how Beverly affected a stranger...
As a newcomer to the Southern Stars Quilt Guild, I met Bev when she made her way over and greeted me when I first started attending meetings. I was alone and her reaching out to me just showed what a perceptive, kind, caring person she was. I always looked to her for her great talent and innovative ideas. Bev added such a sparkle to the meetings. She was such a positive force in our guild. I was sad when she moved away and even sadder to learn your family and the world has lost such a special person.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

To Rick and family. Here's what I loved about my friend Bev. She was opinionated and so am I, so sometimes we agreed and sometimes we locked horns but we always remained friends. She was so hilarious at times and kept me laughing - I loved to sit across from her during lunch at Piesanos so I could be part of her conversation. She was not only witty but smart and knowledgeable of world events. She fought for what she believed in and one of her passions was QACDG for whom she spent many years promoting. It was she who shed light on my limited ability to handle files on my computer - I never knew where any of my programs were until I took a class with Bev and I am forever grateful.. I will miss her smiling face but I will remember all our fun times with her. Rest well, Dear Friend. Jane R
