Betty B. Seale's Obituary
Hague – Betty B. Seale, age 81, died Tuesday, October 14, 2014 after a courageous eight year battle with lung cancer.
Betty was born in PA on May 20, 1933 to Arthur and Rebecca Brown. She moved to Florida in 1957 and lived in Levy County for numerous years. She moved to Hague in 1986. Betty was a member of the Hague Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rebecca Brown; father, Arthur Brown; brother, Arthur R. Brown, Jr.; sister, Bernice Brown and son, Michael Seale.
She is survived by her children: Russell Seale, David Seale (Patricia), Sandra Seale, James Seale, Larry Seale and Ronald Hill. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Betty worked in retail most of her life and was able to retire while working as a claims clerk at Wal-Mart. After retirement, she spent many of her days volunteering at the Alachua County Humane Society. She worked tirelessly to provide her time to animals that were abandoned, abused and neglected.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at WILLIAMS THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 N. Main Street. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Hague Methodist Church at 12716 NW 69th Ter, Hague, with Rev. Johnny Arnette officiating. Interment will follow in the Hague Cemetery. Please join us as we celebrate her life knowing she is now at peace. Casual attire welcomed.
