Mrs. Betty was a wonderful Lady. I enjoyed having the pleasure to know Betty Dampier, she was such a joy to talk to. I surely enjoyed the times and moments that i was able to spend time with Mrs. Betty and to just sit with her on a bench under her porch at her hunting camp and so many times while out in the hunting woods i would cross paths with her and her family in the hunting woods she would tell you a story about the events of that day while hunting and running a hog or a deer with their hunting dogs. It was a blessing for me because, I admired her so much for being the person she was. Betty was as kind of Lady as I ever known, so loving and just a joy to be around. I know that this hunting season will be hard to get through because we will no longer have Mrs. Betty to see and talk to. Mrs. Betty will certainly truly be missed by many hunters and we will never forget the Lady who once rode a 4-wheeler with a shotgun mounted on her handle bars ready to shoot at any hog or buck that stepped out in front of her. I see Mrs. Betty in my mind I have visions of her riding down a dirt road trying to get ahead of their pack of hunting dogs, and I can see her with her shotgun drawn up ready to shoot. Mrs. Betty did not miss at shooting a hog or deer and when you got to where she was, you was going to get a Spectacular story about how it all unfolded. I can tell the entire Dampier Family this, I will surly miss Mrs. Betty but I will never ever forget her. May God Bless all of the Dampier Family. Mrs. Betty I will miss you and I will share your stories that you use to share with me. You were a Inspiration to me and I thank God for letting me have to time to know you. You are a Legend Mrs. Betty. RIP Mrs. Betty.
