Ashley Rebecca Dillon died unexpectedly in her sleep March 6, 2024, at age 43. Ashley was born in Asheville, NC, a place where she felt most at home and frequently returned over the years in various capacities. She grew up in Gai Read Obituary
She was a good girl. I recollect her fondness for strawberries and flowers. A perfect way to describe her. She was sweet, highly loveable, unimposing and hilarious when you least expected... she will be missed deeply and remembered dearly. Sorry for delay in posting. Ashley was part of our Gainesville fabric from her early days learning and playing with our sons at Flowers Montessori. I was honored to help Ann choose books for her during my time at Book Gallery West. May her memory be a blessing.

While I did not know Ashley, our family knew her father as he was Cardiologist for my mom and myself. We thought highly of Dr. Dillon.

The most kind, intelligent, thoughtful and compassionate soul that I have personally come across in this life. She truly helped me understand what gratitude really is, and how to appreciate even the smallest things in life. I thank god for the great lessons she taught myself and others.
