ANTONIA ZAMOT
With her family and her Pastor by her side, Antonia Zamot, of Gainesville FL, died peacefully on Friday, March 21, 2014. She was born on August, 10, 1952 in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico.
Mrs. Zamot lived to serve. She became an LPN in 1970 at just 17 years old in New York. She continued her nursing career and studies in Puerto Rico before moving to Gainesville where she worked as an RN, BSN at the VA Hospital for 21 years.
She touched countless lives with her genuine love for Jesus Christ and her passion for teaching the Word.
Mrs. Zamot is survived by her husband of 41 years José M. Zamot, daughters Loyda Zamot, Sara Zamot, Debra Walters (Eric), grandchildren Tyara Bradshaw, Joakim Walters, Zia Walters, and Miles Walters, her mother, Marcolina Díaz, 5 sisters, 1 brother, and a host of nieces and nephews who loved her very much.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 11:00 to 12:00 P. M.,at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd St., followed by a graveside committal service in Memorial Park West. There will be a celebration of Antonia’s life to follow at 2:30 at The Rock of Gainesville, 9818 SW 24th Avenue.
