I had the pleasure with working with Antonia at the VA during classes we gave called C.A.R.E. to all new employees. She was such a sweet and caring person that loved life and always had something nice to say. She made our jobs so easy while conducting the classes on caring for our Veterans because the participants truly could tell how much she cared about the topics she taught. I was so taken back last week when I heard of her passing to be with her lord and savior. I had to sit down and just think about how she loved life, her husband, children and grandchildren. She was so proud of her husbands service to our country and she used him for many examples throughout the class of how many obstacles he had overcome being an amputee and how others could learn from him. She gave so many Veterans HOPE, LOVE and RESPECT. She always spoke about her children and grandchildren and when she did you could see her face just light up with excitement and pride. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time but I know she is with the Lord and watching over us. I am so happy and proud to have known her for the short period of time we taught the C.A.R.E. classes and just seeing her smiling face in the halls here at the VA. I am going to miss her positive attitude, smile, caring personality and her love for our nations Veterans. I will never forget the love she had for caring for others and the good she always seemed to find in people when others could not. May God Bless your family and give you peace and comfort during this tragic time.

I worked with Antonia when I started at the VA hospital back in 1993. I was a new nurse, and she had worked as a nurse for many years. She was always kind, and smilled constantly. She was one of the nicest people I have ever known. She will be missed greatly until we meet again on the other side. God bless!

Antonia & Jose was basically our first family to show us around Gainesville, and the deep love of Jesus Christ! Personally Antonia was like a Grandmother, she was so loving, and put everyone else's needs before hers that's why she's with the all true, living God! -Christian I. Colon
Antonia was one of the must influential persons In my life, I remember the first time I stepped on the church I got saved, the first person that greeted my family and I was Antonia or Tonita, like everyone called her,she led us right into Sunday school which she loved to teach. I will always remember Tonita for the passion she had to teach the word of God, she was a very loving, compassionate and selfless person who brought many to the knowledge of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, We will terribly miss her,but we have the consolation of knowing that now she is face to face with our King of kings and Lord of lords and Her life will keep impacting many for years to come.

Mrs. Zamot was one of the warmest souls that i have ever met. She was always smiling and enjoying the life that God gave her and she will be missed by all the souls that she touched. She is a saint in every sense of the word. May her legacy live on with her wonderful children and grandchildren and may God grace and comfort abound to all her family, especially to Mr. Zamot.

Please accept my sincere sympathies for the loss of Antonia. I knew her from the VA. Her love of Christ was evident from the time I first met her. May Jesus give you His comfort & peace. May He hold you close as you heal from the loss & grief. May His hope fill you with the assurance that she is now with Him and in a place of eternal comfort, joy and peace.
