Dear Cindy and Family, we have just learned that our dear professor Dr. Palmieri has left us. We are so deeply sorry for your loss. Dr. Palmieri meant so much to both of us—not only as an exceptional professor, but as a truly dear friend. We feel incredibly grateful to have known him and to have shared in his wisdom, kindness, and generosity. We will always remember how kind and supportive he was to international students at UF—he truly made people feel welcome and valued.
He had a remarkable way of touching people’s lives, and his impact on us will always stay with us. Please know that we are thinking of you during this incredibly difficult time and sending you all our love and strength.
