Allen Gray Rose's Obituary
Allen Gray Rose, age 61, of High Springs, Florida, passed away on Monday August 12, 2024, in Gainesville, Florida. Allen was born in Falls Church, Virginia to Josh and Shirley Rose. He moved to Ormond Beach, Fl as a child and grew up there. He worked with Athletic Attic, BRS & Associates, and Florida Pest Control.
Allen was an avid golfer. He was a member of MGA at the Country Club of Lake City as well as Turkey Creek Golf Club in Alachua.
Allen was a member of Canvas church in Alachua. He co-founded Golfing for God. He was also a member of the parking team at Canvas and graduated from Canvas Men of Honor.
He is survived by his wife Donna, brothers; Chuck (Maria); sisters, Linda (Jack), Jan (Ray), sister-in-law; Sherry (Craig), brother-in-law; Tommy (Margo), Chuck Cook, nieces; Erica (David), Sydney, and Samantha; nephew; Tyler (Becky), great nephew; Jackson. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Jean, Nancy and Susan.
A celebration of Allen’s life will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 11:00 am, at Williams-Thomas Westarea Chapel, 823 NW 143rd Street Newberry, Fl, with Pastor Mark Johns officiating. A reception will follow at the funeral home. Please wear your luckiest Golf attire! The family will receive friends on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 5:30-7:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
