I just saw that he passed away.My heartfelt prayers for all his family/friends.

I had the pleasure of meeting Allen at Chiefland Golf and Country Club many years ago. I last saw him October of 2023 at the Rye Grass Tournament. My condolences to all that knew Allen. He will be missed greatly..

I am going to miss interacting with Allen regularly. He was a great person to be around. He was a committed member of the BANCF Golf Committee, and we all know he loved the game! I talked more golf with Allen than I ever played with Allen and that I regret. I am so sorry for your loss.

I had the pleasure of working with Allen at Florida Pest Control in Daytona. Recently My husband and I were able to meet Allen for lunch at the Riveria Country Club where he played in a tournament. He was an awesome guy, will be greatly missed. Saying prayers for Donna and family.
I got to know Allen over the last several years playing golf. My favorite memory of him was when our team got paired with his team for glow ball scramble. We are on the last hole and his 3 teammates have all missed the 8 foot birdie putt. Some of our team is kinda egging him on about missing the putt. He turns to us and says "you wanna put some money on it" We all decline, Then, in classic form, he looks at his own team and asks the same thing to them. After another decline of the bet and lots of laughter, Allen rolls in the birdie putt like he always did. He was highly competitive but always good natured and friendly. I know me and all his golf buddies are gonna miss him. Prayers for his family who will miss him more.
Allen was one of my golf buddy's for over 24 years. Always enjoyed playing with him! He always had a smile on his face even if his game was not good that day. We will keep Allen's family in our prayers. Roger & Nancy Mitzel
