Agnes Ophelia Estes, age 96 of Gainesville, FL passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014. She was born December 16, 1917 in Henry County, Alabama to Robert C. and Mary Agnes Davis Herring. Mrs. Estes attended Northwest Baptist Church. S Read Obituary
Agnes was a great "lady" - the only word to describe her. I met her when I first moved to Millhopper Pines at bingo. She had charge of that and everything was done in a very quiet manner.
She always looked beautiful - matching clothing, shoes and jewelry. I have been there for 3-1/2 years and never heard anything but praise for her. I know she was proud of her family and has had a wonderful life. It has been nice knowing her.

So sad to hear of Agnes's passing, but know she has been welcomed home by our Heavenly Father. Now never a sadness or heartache to bear, only the joy of being reunited with those who have gone before her. We will always remember many family gatherings with Agnes at the Sterlings, she was a joy to be around. May God's comfort and the love of family and friends help you through this difficult time.
