William "Will" Wooten's Obituary
William “Will” Wooten, Jr., age 57 of Gainesville, FL passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016. He was born May 11, 1959 in Topeka, KS to William Jack and Annie Laura Sutton Wooten. He grew up in Jackson, MS and graduated from Ole Miss. He moved to Gainesville right after college.
Will was an insurance agent and financial planner. He worked for several different companies, Bankers Life, American General and United Healthcare. Will was an avid gardener and enjoyed politics of the day.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his two sisters, Kathi Wooten Warren of Canton, MS and Kimberly Wooten Sontag of Gainesville, FL and his beloved cat “Pepper”
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Central. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gainesville Pet Rescue, 5403 S.W. Archer Road, Gainesville, FL 32608.
