Bill was an easy-going guy to work with and playing music with him was a blast. He had that dry sense of humor that helped everyone relax and play better.
Anyone who enjoys music and laughter the way Bill did has had a blessed life.

Bill's passing has left a hole in the music world that cannot be filled. His humor was infectious and couldn't help but laugh with Bill around. Steve was "musically raised" by Bill and the other members of the Wheelz band being the youngest member for many years. Bill sat stage left and Steve was stage right with Tom in the middle and Rick behind them. Their banter on stage was entertaining to say the least. On several occasions you would hear Bill loudly say across the stage to Steve, "Cornbread, what are you doing over there?!?!?" (Our last name is Cornett) Or if Steve was late coming to the stage after break, Bill over the microphone, "Anybody seen a bass player out there? Cornbread get up here!!" Always followed by that giggle of his. Yes, Bill, you are loved by many and will be greatly missed. God bless and peace be with your family and friends. Steve and Linda Cornett
It was an honor and pleasure to have known and worked with Bill at Tacahale. He had a gentle spirit and a concern for those with special needs that set an example for others to follow. He will be missed.

Thanks for the great memories of the many holidays you spent with us in NY. I will never forget our Hallmark Christmas, or as you called it our, "Paulmark Christmas" where the kids lined up on the stairs singing Christmas carols as you played the piano and Nicole and Angela "played" their clarinets.
