William C. “Dub” Geiger, was born July 30, 1924 to Cleveland and Edna Geiger of Levy County. He graduated from Bronson High School in 1943. He enlisted in the U.S. Army July 1944. On April 6, 1945 he was wounded and captured by th Read Obituary
Mr. Geiger,
Was won of my favorite teachers at SF High School. As a member and officer of FFA, he was an inspiration to me. He always went above and beyond to help students in class and life. I will always have fond memories of Mr. Geiger.

As neighbors of the Geigers from 1967 - 1971 on Millhopper Rd (when it was only "Route 3, Gainesville"), I was always impressed with the open hospitality shown. Though the Geigers had only one child, they were parents to many, many more. Mark, may you have many fond memories to hold close. I wish you comfort at this time.
Mr. Geiger was one of my favorite teachers.
He promoted my interest in beekeeping at SFHS and was always supportive. My condolences to his family. God bless.

Mark and all my Florida Cousins: "Uncle Dub" was so special. I have fond memories of him and Aunt Iney on our many visits to Gainesville. I am so glad we got to see him when we came to visit with Aunt Ann. I hate that there are so many miles between us but my Florida family is forever in my heart. Mark, your Mother and Father are together now. Just think of all the good times the will be having with all our other family members that have passed on.... especially Grandmother Thornton!! Mr. Geiger was one of my favorite teachers at Santa Fe High School. I remember his as a kind, patient and dedicated teacher. He has left an impression on many young hearts and minds. He will be missed. My heartfelt sympathy to his family who I know will miss him greatly.

Mr. Geiger was one of my teachers and advisors at the Santa Fe High School Ag Department. Through FFA and classes, he taught more than Ag, he taught many of us how to grow into responsible adults. His life lessons live on through his students.
