William Brien Gaffney's Obituary
William Brien Gaffney, 76, of Williston, Florida, died Friday, November 2, 2018 in the Malcolm Randall V. A. Medical Center, following a long illness.
Mr. Gaffney was born May 14, 1942 in Stamford, Connecticut to the late William and Janet Gaffney. He was a veteran of the Vietnam war, having served in the U. S. Army. He received his undergraduate degree from VMI and a Master of Business Administration from Florida Tech, and was an electrical engineer with the National Security Agency. Mr. Gaffney attended The Vineyard Church of Gainesville. He had many friends, all who he loved being with as much as they loved being with him.
Survivors include one daughter, Carmela Taylor, of Katy, TX; two sisters, Elaine Piter, of West Palm Beach and Arlene Buckley, of Norwood, MA; three grandchildren, Bronson, Annabella and Christian.
As were his wishes, no services will be held.
