I enjoyed working with him for many years and knowing him for even longer. I was told many times by my grandfather, "just listen to Hobie and do what he says." He was a man I always found to be very knowledgeable about the many different things we had to do. I admired his patience and sense of calm he seemed to bring with him, yet he also had a good sense of humor that could draw a good laugh from those quiet enough to listen. He was always viewed as very close and trusted by my family and we will miss him dearly.
Good man, friend and worker. Always enjoyed seeing him on the job showing the younger guys how it's done. Our whole family misses him and prays for Jo and the girls.
