William Whitley Fields' Obituary
William Whitley Fields, 90, of Gainesville, Florida, passed away August 5, 2015. He was born October 6, 1924 in Clinchburg, Virginia to William Everette and Alice Edna Henderson Fields. William was a US Army Veteran, having served in WWII as well as the Korean War. He was a member of Northwest Baptist Church, and had retired from The Florida Department of Transportation.
William is survived by his wife, Rama; five children, Bill, Mike, Sissy, Steven, and Ramona; and five grandchildren.
Interment will take place Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood, Virginia.
