I was fortunate to have Dr. Enneking as my orthopedic surgeon in 1976. Facing the certain amputation of my leg due to cancer, Dr. Enneking bravely executed an astonishing surgery that saved my leg and 40 years later I've never had a complication. It doesn't surprise me how remarkable he was in all facets of his life. He was a pioneer and he made a huge difference in so many peoples lives. Respectfully, Bruce Block
Two memories: 1. catching fish in boat stored n Yankeetown which was shared with my Dad called the Lyking. 2. Dad and I visited them on a recent New Year's Day....bill was late, as he told it, while heartily laughing, "while fishing with his grandson, he fell out of the boat, losing both hearing aids". From childhood on, have always enjoyed his zest for life and the fun my family always had with theirs!
