William Wallace "Bill" Davis' Obituary
William Wallace “Bill” Davis, age 78 of Gainesville, Florida passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015. He was born July 19, 1937.
He was born and grew up in Los Angeles, California, then started his family in the San Francisco Bay area and later moved to Virginia.
He was an account executive for the C. Lloyd Johnson Company until his retirement. He moved to Gainesville in 2011 to be close to his family. Bill enjoyed walking his dog on trails, walking 6 to 8 miles a day.
He is survived by his son, Justin (Katie) Davis of Gainesville; daughter, Katherine Davis of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Amelia and Eli Davis of Gainesville and Merle, his beloved Louisiana Catahoula Leopard dog.
Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gainesville Pet Rescue 5403 S.W. Archer Road, Gainesville, FL 32608
