William "Bill" A. Fosser's Obituary
William “Bill” A. Fosser, 60, resident of Gainsville, Florida, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 26, 2016.
He was born February 25, 1956 in Rugby, North Dakota, to the late Robert and Margaret Fosser. He and his family moved to Gainesville in 1962. Mr. Fosser was a graduate of Eastside High School, Class of 1975. He worked in the retail business for 40+ years.
He is survived by his fiancée of 9 years, Linda Godshall; sons, Will (Katie) Fosser and Alex (Kat) Fosser; three grandchildren, Ryan, Travis and Sophia; brothers, Larry (Ann) Fosser and Terry (Rhonda) Fosser; sisters, Bernadine (Wayne) Wetherington and Lorna (Mark) Houston and sister-in-law, D.A. Fosser Ryan, James’ former wife.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James Fosser.
Bill was an avid Gator fan and his wish is that everyone that attends wear Gator attire.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 10:00 A. M., in the Chapel of Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Downtown, 404 North Main Street, with Pastor J. Mark Johns, officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park East. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 30, 2016, from 6 to 8 P. M., at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the American Cancer Society, 2119 SW 16th Street, Gainesville, FL 32608.
