Bill was my Brother-in-Law for 20 years. I remember him laughing at my horror of seeing a alligator "up close". I will always remember him fondly as a true Southern gentleman. Funny. Warm smile and Kindness. He definitely was full of stories. Bless you Bill for showing me kindness at a time you didnt have to.

4-H’er under Mr Bill’s tenure. I also babysat Jeremiah for many Saturday Gator Football games! Love. Thoughts. Prayers.

Bill, Sue and I attended Austin Peay State University together and I have fond memories of those days/years. Bill was a fun guy to be with and I felt like I knew him all of my life. Being from Winter Haven, Florida and hearing a “Country Boy” talk from Morganfield, KY was quite a treat. My roommate,Flip Farinella, also from Winter Haven, and I were entertained by Bill and another football player by the name of Jerry Lawhon. Jerry was from London located in East Tennessee. When Bill and Jerry got together to hold a conversation, it was most amusing. I can hear Bill calling Jerry “hey Longhorn” as I reflect on those fun days.
Bill will be remembered for his friendly demeanor, his caring attitude towards others, his. commitment to agriculture development and his love for his family and friends.

Bill was one of the kindest, sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He and Sue were made for each other, soul mates. My heart breaks for Sue and her family. My prayers are with all of you. God Speed Bill you will be missed.
Bill and I worked together when I was an extension agent putting together and running the Alachua County Farmers Market. He always supported my efforts even when he didn't understand my work style since I did not come from a farming background. He had a great sense of humor and was a genuinely nice guy. He was a big believer in the mission of IFAS, to share information about growing things with the public. He created a positive atmosphere in the office, something that is all too rare. I was sorry to learn of his passing. He will be missed.
One of the happiest men I have ever known. We will miss you Bill. You were a good man.
I met Bill and Sue in 1975 when they moved to Trenton. I loved them immediately and enjoyed their friendship so much. Bill is one of those people who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. My heart goes out to Sue and Jeremiah as they attempt to carry on without Bill.
So sad to hear about Bill’s passing. I knew Bill from the Cedar Key United Methodist church. He will surely be missed.
It would always make me smile to see Bill and Sue at the Island Hotel on a Friday night. You knew things were going to be fun. Bill will be sorely miss and warmly remembered.
