Wilbur Austin Dampier's Obituary
Wilbur Austin Dampier was born January 31, 1933, in Gainesville, FL. He passed on March 26, 2026.
Wilbur learned at an early age that hard work paid off. Wilbur was an active member at Hague Baptist Church spanning 40+ years, teaching Sunday school and Men’s Worship and was able to go on several mission trips in the Caribbean.
For over 50 years he and his wife were the proud owners of Dampier’s Septic Tank and Porta Potti, working side by side.
Wilbur was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great, great grandfather.
Wilbur is survived by his three children, son Freddie (Missy), daughter Beth (Mike), daughter Brenda, Jill, nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
