Wayne Stewart Runnels' Obituary
Wayne Stewart Runnels, age 50 passed away on March 18, 2023 in Gainesville, Florida. He was born on April 5, 1972, in Jacksonville, FL. and adopted on May 5, 1972, by Tom and Maggie Runnels.
Wayne grew up in the Gainesville area and enjoyed going to the University of Florida Baseball games.
He is survived by his parents, Tom, and Maggie Runnels; son, Bodie Runnels, and his mother Michelle Waterman; brother, Warren Runnels and his wife Teena; Nieces, Taryn and Emilee Runnels.
A celebration of Wayne’s life will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Newberry, FL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the FL.
