Wanette "Candy" Sanchez's Obituary
Wanette "Candy" Sanchez, 76 of Gainesville, FL passed away on Friday August 18th, 2017. Wanette was born in Gulf Hammock, FL on March 31st, 1941. She retired from Myra Terwilliger Elementary School in May 1999.
She is survived by her husband, Henry "Buck" Sanchez, Jr. Of Gainesville, FL; a sister, Darlene Hinson of Gainesville, FL; a daughter, Vicki Barber (David) of Alachua, FL; a son, Jack Sanchez (Pam) of Trenton, FL, 4 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Polly Morgan, and two sisters, Doris Hurst and Geneva Beckham.
A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Memorial Park Central, 4100 NW 39th Ave. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 N Main Street. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Wanette's name to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd, Gainesville, FL 32606.
