Wanda Lou Landers' Obituary
Wanda Lou Landers, 58, resident of Micanopy, Florida and formerly of Weatherford, Oklahoma, died on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at her home, following a long illness.
Ms. Landers was born on July 22, 1961 in Carnegie, Oklahoma to the late Tom and Alberta Landers. She lived in Oklahoma for most of her life, a few years as a teen in Micanopy. In Weatherford, she worked as a nursing assistant for Little Bird Nursing Home. She enjoyed crocheting, playing games with her family, and snapping beans. Wanda was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Landers, and two sisters, Trudy Ratliff and Barbara Pigg.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet (David) Wardwell, of Micanopy; two brothers, Mark Landers, of Weatherford, OK and Frankie Landers, of Micanopy; two sisters, Janie (Clifford) Burnham, of Micanopy and Judy Perkins, of Clinton, OK; two grandchildren, Daisy Lou Conley and David J. Wardwell, Jr., both of Micanopy.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 2:00 P. M., in the First Baptist Church of Micanopy, with Rev. Victor Nickerson, officiating.
