Walter P. Legacy Jr.'s Obituary
Walter P. Legacy, Jr., age 87 of Gainesville, passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 at his home. Walter was born April 30, 1931 in Bennington, Vermont to Walter P., Sr. and Antoinette Legacy. As a boy he enjoyed fishing and camping. He also enjoyed roller skating and that is what he was doing when he first met his future wife Joyce. Walter served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked as a machinist, a builder and furniture maker; he loved working with his hands.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce in 2014. He is survived by his son, Neil C. Legacy of Gainesville, FL and brother, Harold J. Legacy of Bennington, Vermont.
Graveside services will be held Friday, October 12, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., in Fairbanks Cemetery.
