Powers, Virginia Villarin, 64
Ms. Virginia Villarin Powers, age 64, passed away May 4, 2015 at Haven Hospice. She was unable to survive her battle with lymphoma.
She enjoyed bowling, dancing at the local clubs and family gatherings. She especially enjoyed partying at the beach, swimming, collecting seashells, as well as knick-knacks, because she loved to decorate. She was a very beautiful, creative, fun-loving, caring, big hearted, vivacious person.
She is survived by her children, Shirley Villarin Smith of Fremont, CA, Gina Marie Robertson of Houston, TX and Teresa Elizabeth Robertson of San Antonio, TX; sister, Irenea Reinhart of Gainesville, FL; mother, Teresa O. Villarin; 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and her loving boyfriend, Manuel Aguilera of Melrose, FL.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 9:00 a.m., in Holy Faith Catholic Church, 747 NW 43rd Street, with Fr. James as celebrant. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 6, 2015, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorials to the American Cancer Society, 2119 S.W. 16th Street, Gainesville, FL 32608.
