Virginia Caroline Bowman Land passed from this life, following a brief illness, on September 17, 2018, at the age of 84. Virginia will be deeply missed by her husband of 66 years, Van Land, and her children, Connie Land Cauthen (Ray), Janet Land, Tom Land (Kim), her grandchildren, Justin Cauthen (Sue) and Adriana Escobedo-Land and great grandson, Daniel Cauthen.
Her enthusiasm for collecting old bottles, gardening, swimming, boating, fishing, scalloping, tracing her ancestry, and her love for the Lord and her family, will be deeply missed.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 21, 2018, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street, Newberry, FL. Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., at the 39th Avenue Church of Christ, 1811 NW 39th Avenue, Gainesville, FL. Interment will follow in Forest Meadows West at 700 NW 143rd Street, Newberry, FL.
