Violet "Vi" Lera Conerly's Obituary
Violet "Vi" Lera Conerly was born February 16, 1926 in Branford, Florida. She went home to be with The Lord on December 28, 2016. Vi was employed by Heights Funeral Home from 1998-2015. Her church home was Houston First Baptist Church from 1986 to 2016. Where she served in and sang in the choir.
Vi is preceded in death by her husband, James William Conerly, Jr. She is survived by daughters, Vickie Wolff and Renee Cooke; 5 grandchildren, Donna Ritch, Connie Wolff, Rhonda Young, Rebecca Cooke Rodriguez and Jeffrey Cooke; 5 great-grandchildren, Joshua Herron, Meghan Ritch, Austin Ritch, Declan Cooke, and Erika Young.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, 3612 NW 177th Avenue, Gainesville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements are under the care of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN.
