Victoria Gemora Arceo's Obituary
Victoria Gemora Arceo, 49, of Gainesville, died Thursday, March 10, 2016 in the E. T. York Hospice Care Center, Gainesville, Florida, following a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Mrs. Arceo was born on March 16, 1966 in Manila, Philippines. She received her Bachelor’s in Psychology, and owned her own computer business. She was widowed at a young age and with three children to raise, she used her personality and resourcefulness to provide a good life for them. Victoria loved to cook, to make jewelry, plan parties and family get togethers. She attended St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Gainesville, and will be remembered by everyone she met as a loving and cheerful person.
She is survived by her children, Adam Jan Arceo, Julia Angelic Arceo and Jastin August Arceo, all of the Philippines; her parents, Ricardo, Jr. and Dalisay Gemora, of Gainesville; one sister, Elda Marie Quijano, of Gainesville; five brothers, Jaime, Ricardo, III, Jonathan, Francis and Joselito Gemora.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 1:00 P. M., in the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, with Fr. Dung Bui, celebrant. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd., Gainesville, FL 32606.
