Vera Vaughn's Obituary
Vera Vaughn, age 68 passed away on April 18 at the Plaza in Gainesville,
Fl. She was born on May 24, 1952 at Alachua General Hospital in
Gainesville to William and Lillian Williamson.
She graduated from Gainesville High School in 1970 and worked at
Farm Bureau.
She married the love of her life, Lonnie, in 1971. They lived in
North Carolina when he was in the US Marines. They returned to
Florida and lived in Williston. She enjoyed family gatherings,
gardening, cooking and baking.
She is survived by Doris Mallard, mother-in-law; brothers-in-law,
Steve (Dianna) Vaughn, George "Cotton" Fletcher; sisters-in-law,
Elaine Vaughn, and Barbara (Allan) Toops, Gainesville, nieces,
Debbie Diamond and Beth (Jay) Hess, nephews, Blake Fletcher,
'Michael Toops and Kyle Vaughn.
She is predeceased by her husband, Lonnie, her parents, and
sister, Gloria Williamson Fletcher.
Private graveside services for family will be held at a later date at
New Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Lacrosse.
