Timothy Robert Kaminski's Obituary
Timothy Robert Kaminski, “TK”, 65, of Gainesville, Florida, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016, in the E. T. York Hospice Care Center, following a long illness, in the presence of his family.
Mr. Kaminski/TK/Tim was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 17, 1951, to the late Robert and Geraldine Kaminski. He proudly served in the United States Coast Guard. He loved southern history, and anything mechanical-gas or diesel. He built trains, boats, and motor cycles and most recently was restoring a special treasure, a 1929 Ford Roadster.
He is survived by his wife, Lynda Coulter Kaminski and two sons, Robert Charles Kaminski and Michael James Kaminski.
A memorial service with military honors will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 10:30 A. M., in the Chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street, with Rev. Arnold O’Steen, officiating. The family would like to give special thanks to the providers at Digestive Disease Associates for their swift and compassionate skilled care, The North Florida Endoscopy staff for their comforting support, and The North Florida Regional Medical Center Emergency Department for their prompt attention assessments and support. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Gainesville Rabbit Rescue, P. O. Box 874, Williston, FL 32696 or to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd., Gainesville, FL 32606.
