Timothy James Adams' Obituary
Timothy James Adams of Gainesville, Fl passed away May 22,2014 at the age of 63. He was the firstborn son to David and Thelma Adams of Fond du Lac, WI. Born in Wisconsin, Tim was a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan. He moved to Florida as a child and became a lifelong Gator fan, as well as a University of Florida Graduate with degrees in Education and Media Sciences and a Master’s in Educational Leadership. The value he placed in education and his love of sports became the foundation for his 39 year career. He was a Coach to many and a role model to all he met. Tim will be greatly missed by his church family at First Baptist, where he served as a deacon and Bible Study teacher. He was preceded in death by his baby brother Dan Adams. Tim is survived by his wife of 41 years, Diane Adams, his daughter, Emily Adams Raphael (Byron) and granddaughter Alice. He is also survived by brother, Don Adams, and sister, Sue Willingham.Tim dearly loved his nieces and nephews. A life celebration service will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday May 27, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Gainesville, 14105 NW 39th Avenue with Pastor John Fairless officiating.
