Tiffany Dawn Reed's Obituary
Tiffany Dawn Reed, 48, Gainesville, FL , passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024 at North Florida Regional Hospital surrounded by her family.
Tiffany was born in Crossville, TN on June 25, 1975. She lived her very early childhood in Crossville and later lived with her family in Osceola County, FL, Knoxville, TN and Gainesville, FL. Tiffany was a 1993 graduate of St. Cloud High School, St. Cloud, FL.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Hyder Reed, her sisters Sandy Reed Yancey, Vickie Reed (Jeff) Wilt, all of Gainesville, FL; her nephews and nieces, Richard (Kristie) Proffitt II, Jonathan (Lindsey) DiGiovanni, Joshua DiGiovanni, Ashley Wilt (Kyle) Ramirez, Jacob Yancey, and Abigail Wilt; great nephews and niece, Richard Proffitt III, Kaileigh Proffitt, Everett DiGiovanni, and Emery DiGiovanni, as well as numerous aunts, uncles , cousins and extended family.
Tiffany was preceded in death by her father, Elbert Thomas Reed, her sister Linda Reed Proffitt, her grandparents, Walter and Ruby Walker Hyder, Major Reed, Susie Garrison Selby and her step -grandfather Eugene Selby.
Tiffany loved participating in Special Olympics, Best Buddies at the University of Florida, and Tim Tebow’s Annual Night to Shine Prom.
She was an avid Disney fan, enjoying the Disney World Parks, and Disney movies and songs. Her family will forever remember her as their own Disney Princess.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 18, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 P. M., at the Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Westarea, 823 NW 143rd St., Newberry. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 1:00 P. M., at Hood Funeral Home, 2371 US-127, Crossville, Tennessee, with the family receiving friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
