Thomas Raymond Yoli's Obituary
Thomas Raymond Yoli of Gainesville, FL passed away at home on May 24, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born August 20, 1956, in Bedford, MA to Victor Thomas, Jr. and Marilyn Crocker Yoli. Tom earned his BA degree from Auburn University which left an indelible impression on his life and made him a forever fan of the Auburn Tigers (WAR EAGLE!) He then proceeded to earn his MBA at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. Tom was a Human Resources software implementation consultant for large businesses. He had an extensive career implementing and installing INFOR software for large medical facilities all over North America.
Tom was very family-oriented and had an extremely generous heart and spirit. He shared almost 32 years with the love of his life and life partner, Gabino Cuevas. They enjoyed amazing adventures together and loved traveling throughout North America and Europe. A very fond travel memory is of the time they took their mothers on a tour of Italy. Tom was a faithful man and very involved in their church in Miami, St. Francis de Sales, prior to relocating to Gainesville two years ago.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents and by his sisters Deborah Ann Green and Linda Marie Gamel.
Tom is survived by his life partner, Gabino, and brother, James Victor (Rhonda) Yoli as well as many extended family members and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 3, 2022, at 11 AM at St. Frances de Sales Catholic Church, 621 Alton Rd., Miami Beach, FL with Fr. Gabriel Vigues as celebrant and Monsignor Kenneth Schwanger as co-celebrant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10 AM. Entombment will follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
