I will be forever grateful that Tom came into my life. He was a great man because he had a truly loving and kind heart, courage, compassion and intelligence that he shared and used to help others. He was kind, loving and always showed his appreciation for my taking care of him and trying to make him more comfortable. He knew I grew to love him as well. He gave me the great honor of including me as "one of the kids." As I told Cheryl, I knew I was in the presence of greatness and my life has been changed for the better by Tom, and all of you that I was privileged to get to know as we spent time together caring for him. Thank you. My heart goes out to you all and everyone who was touched by Tom. I wish you all peace and healing. Let us all take the example, lessons and gifts Tom gave us and use them to be better people and to make the world a better place.
